BASS MUSEUM
Museum of Brewing and local History. Fully licenced Historical Bar.
Many vintage vehicles and Farm Friends. The home of the Bass Shire Horses.
THE
CLAYMILLS PUMPING ENGINES
Fully operational Sewage pumping station, restored by volunteers from the
Claymills Pumping Engines Trust. This station was completed in 1885 and was in
operation up until 1971. The site was listed (Grade 2*) and the fabric of the
buildings repaired with help of funds from English Heritage and the owners Seven
Trent Water.
BEEHIVE
FARM
Part of the new National Forest. Has lots to offer including: a tea room
(fantastic breakfasts), craft units, cycle and horse riding trails, walks,
caravan and camping site, animal corner, fishing lakes, free car and coach
parking and much more. Many events, including medieval reinactments and country
fairs are held most weekends throughout the summer.
